There are endless reasons to send flowers, even if it’s “just because”. In the summer months, flowers are such a great gift because they are vibrant, bright and breathe a fresh look and feel into any space! Give a small bud vase or send a large bouquet and make someone's day! July has so many fun reasons to purchase flowers. Here are a few of our favorites:
Let's celebrate those graduates! They have worked so hard, now it is time to have a party! Jazz up those buffet lines and picnic tables with a country chic arrangement that will be sure to please. Some of the most popular country chic flowers include sunflowers, zinnias, delphinium, baby’s breath, dahlias and daisy pomps.
July 4th Independence Day
Red, white and Blue, we love and appreciate you! Send flowers or decorate your own backyard BBQ. Red, white and blue flower arrangements can really make a statement and get your guests in a festive mood! Some of our favorite red flowers for the holiday include carnations, mini carnations, spray roses, long stem roses, and torch ginger. Wonderful white selections could include carnations, hydrangea, mums, roses, lisianthus and larkspur. Blue flowers are the bomb! Some of our favorite blues are scabiosa, blue bomb orchids, iris and delphinium.
July 5 Work-a-holic day
We all either know one, or we are one. On July 5th, it is time to send them a reminder (or send ourselves a reminder) that there is a whole world of fun and beauty out there! You know they are not going to take a nature break, so let's send one to them! In this mayday situation, even a small bouquet is great. Some of our favorite small bouquets include yellow and white daisies with filler, snapdragons, sunflowers or alstroemeria!
July 11 Cheer Up The Lonely Day
You have no idea how much flowers cheer up the lonely. Sending an arrangement or wrapped bouquet of flowers, no matter how small, can brighten someone's spirits. Have us design a bright arrangement for your loved one. Sometimes a pop of color is just what the doctor ordered! There are many bright flowers but some of the brightest are gerbera daisies, alstroemeria, delphinium, sunflowers and ranunculus.
July 30 International Day of Friendship
Ok, so this reason does not need an explanation. There is nothing more fun than getting a “thinking of you” arrangement from a pal as a reminder of the important things in life! Yellow is the color of friendship and it is also a great color for a wide variety of flowers! Some of our favorite yellow flowers are freesia (smells wonderful!!), alstroemeria, daisy pomps, Gerbera daisy, spray roses and long stem roses.
